consistent Character creation in midjourney
Step 1: Use ai random face generator to get a rough sketch and /blend with a mannequin with neutral colors. Prompt with descriptive syntax.
Resulting character is generated:
Variations of this generation using different textures and mannequins.
Experimenting with the same process but with different clothing and description.
Experimentation with different eyes and faces.
Wanting to experiment with various hair prompts to change hair and backgrounds.
At some point I realize I like the striking nature of this character's eyes and face. I also like where the hair is going. I want to continue generating down this path.
It's during this process that I begin to notice the pillar boxing and that I need to make a solid colorless background so that when I blend this character into scenes, MidJourney only focuses on the character's face.
Experimenting with placing my new character into a science fiction scene and generating different emotions.
